First National BankCheque account Account number: 62206385503 Branch number: 200512 Please contact Tanya Mitrovic (E: tanya@senecio.org.za, C: 073 750 6726) with regards to fund raising. Apart from donations Senecio also raises funds through various events such as the Senecio Funrun. Another source of income is the sale of the programmes that Senecio have developed such as the Motor Perceptual Stimulation Programme. Adopt A Centre The Adopt a Centre initiative is aimed at raising money for the ongoing work of Senecio. The results at the care centres have been extraordinary and Senecio has been expanding at a tremendous rate. What started off as a NPC working at one care centre has blossomed into a NPC that now aids 8 care centres. The reality is that the financial strain has been sudden and unexpected. It would be unfortunate to decrease this number of care centres as the progress that the children and caregivers are making is astounding.Adopt a Centre offers companies or individuals the opportunity to get involved with a specific care centre. It costs Senecio R54 000 per year to work with the larger care centres and R27 000 per year for the smaller care centres. In other words it would cost an individual or company R54 000 or R27 000 to ensure that Senecio is able to provide their services at one care centre for the duration of that year. Back A Buddy
Senecio uses the Back A Buddy website in order to raise additional funds. The way that this works is that you are able to become a Charity Champion for Senecio. What this entails is that people can donate money towards the charity that you support. This is perfect if you wish to participate in an event such as the Two Oceans Marathon or the Comrades and use this to promote and raise funds for Senecio.
Please note: Senecio is a registered Section 21 company and a Public Benefit Organisation registered by SARS. All donations received will be deductable from tax according to the terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act of 1962. |
